   Managed small corporate staff of quality engineers, analyst, developers and an admin directing and supporting the quality control and technical service & systems for all Kodak owned photofinishing laboratories in the U.S. and Canada. Responsible for the cost and reliability of 54 facilities, 10,000+ production assets, 180,000 line item inventory, supporting systems and applications.

  • Acquisitions and Closures: Over a 10 year period I managed more than 50 projects which required extreme attention to detail, professionalism and sensitivity as Kodak purchased or closed many facilities. Projects involved management of labor, capitalized assets & equipment, historical data, parts, tools, supplies, consumables, hazardous waste and disposal, cleanup, logistics and financial accountability.
  • Labor: Managed many workforce projects in accountability, task analysis, staffing analysis, standardizing compensation, benefits analysis, training and educational requirements.
  • Equipment: Coordinated projects for installations, reliability, efficiency, failure analysis, operating costs, upgrades, version control, workflow analysis, international equipment transfers, decommissioning.
  • Inventory: Central parts warehouse, inter company transfers, critical parts analysis, high usage, over stock, obsolete parts, fabrication contracts, refurbishing, RMA tracking, vendor management, recycling.
  • Silver Recovery: The most important component of the photo process involves silver and must be recovered for cost and environmental reasons. I managed a project for it's recovery that involved capitalized equipment, labor, training, processing, monitoring equipment, security, hazardous chemicals, analytical testing, permitting, refining, logistics and monitoring the silver spot market. The project encompassed 54 national facilities, 3 analytical labs and 2 metal refineries, more than 2 million troy ounces of pure silver were collected annually at a calculated recovery efficiency of more than 96%.
